We’ve just received word from The Last Waltz that they will be unable to appear in Little Rock at The Rev Room this Thursday night. In a phone call I took 30 minutes ago, the leader of the band (the leader of The “fake” Band) said “We got a call from Brian Crowne at George’s and he said they have changed up parking on Dickson St in Fayetteville, so he told us he could only pay us 1/2 of our original agreed upon guarantee. We can’t afford to make it out there for Fayetteville or Little Rock. I’m Sorry”. And that’s that, I guess.
One thing we always believe is that “The Show Must Go On”. Unfortunately, not everyone else feels the same way. We will be very careful with whom we do business in the future, and we apologize for the disappointment this may cause. Believe me when I say that our staff is just as disapppointed. A night without a show is undoubtedly hard on all of us.
